Alex Clarke, described as one of the most exciting and respected saxophonists on the UK jazz scene, performs with her quartet featuring David Newton (piano), Dave Green (bass) and Sebastiaan De Krom (drums). The set draws on her album Out of the Woods, inspired by saxophonist Phil Woods, mixing arrangements of his pieces with original compositions in a swinging, melodic style. Doors open at 7pm with music starting at 8pm. Advance tickets are cheaper than paying on the door; booking is recommended.
