An early-evening guided walk exploring Walthamstow Wetlands after dark, led by London Wildlife Trust's Engagement Team. After a short introduction to the reserve's bat species, the group uses bat detectors to pick up echolocation calls while watching bats hunt over the water. Detectors are provided, though you're welcome to bring your own along with a red-light torch. The walk lasts around 1.5 hours and is a good way to experience the reserve at dusk. Tickets cost £15 and this date is now fully booked, with no booking button currently live. Meet at the Wetlands' main car park.
Listing from London Wildlife Trust. Times and prices can change — check their page before you travel.
