Speakers Neal Shasore and Michael Hall discuss the vital role queer people have played in shaping cultural heritage, focusing on how private homes became safe spaces for people who challenged social norms, allowing authentic self-expression. The talk also looks at how mainstream culture has since appropriated these historically queer expressions and their legacies. It's held as part of the programme around the Earthly Paradise exhibition. Entry is pay-what-you-can, suggested £10; at time of writing, booking had not yet opened.
